Human Galectin-9 Potently Enhances SARS-CoV-2 Replication and Inflammation In Airway Epithelial Cells

Preprint established that higher concentrations of Galectin-9 led to more infection in terms of SARS-CoV-2 infected cells. The concept is that the Galectin-9 facilitates viral entry at a significantly higher rate than the control.
